Congratulations to my client and friend Alexa for her new movie Spare Parts! I had the opportunity to do her hair for the movie premiere and we decided to give it a Rapunzel inspired fish tail braid.
Hair Talk:
I first gave Alexa a deep right side part on and wrapped random pieced around a 1 inch curling iron for texture and body. Once finished I started french braiding her hair from the right temple to the lower left nape then continued it into a fish tail. When done braiding, I secured the braid with an elastic and pulled some pieces out by the face and the braid for a loose and lived in texture. Use bobby pins to shape and pin unwanted loose pieced and finish with Paul Mitchell's Awapuhi Finishing Hairspray to hold the look and you are good to go!
